ELM Conveyor Chain Oil has performance superior to synthetic or general petroleum oils due to its natural lubricity properties. The base oil has shown to have 4X more lubricity of same viscosity petroleum oils. The product has about 200 °F higher flash/fire point than comparable mineral oils making it safer when stored.
ELM Conveyor Chain Oil is heavier and more tacky than other ELM chain oils. It does not attract dust but bonds to metal surfaces more effectively due to the polarity of its natural based oils. The oil can also be used to clean the chains and lubricate.
